Why is it important to recycle used corks? Recycling cork is far more important than you might imagine. Every cork that is popped and then recycled represents a celebration of life and the continuing sustainance of a whole way of life, which in turn helps to support a very important endangered animal species, the Iberian Lynx. Cork is a natural resource, renewable, biodegradable and recyclable.
